Therapeutic Style

Because we do not adhere to a "one size fits all" approach to therapy, we use an integrative approach to best meet the unique and individual needs of each client.

We use a variety of therapeutic methods; including: trauma approaches, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, solution-focused, compassion-focused, positive psychology, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and Existential Analysis.

Focus

We work with individuals, couples, families, and groups in managing a variety of different concerns and difficulties; including, trauma, pursuit of meaning-making, depression, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem, perfectionism, communication, stress, family-of-origin difficulties, sleep, body image, relationship problems, boundary setting/assertiveness, and identity development.

We work collaboratively with each client and commit to providing an environment of physical, emotional, and spiritual safety, by seeking to understand each client's personal experiences, beliefs, and worldview.
